Each day there are millions of stories, and we make you create a chapter in the lovely continent of Africa. We put together all attractions and destinations for you to see, explore and uncover the mammals, birds, primates, and landscapes across Uganda. In 10 days, you will Visit the Africa’s Big5 cats on a game drive in Murchison Fall’s national park; Rhino trekking in Ziwa Rhino sanctuary;
Chimpanzee trekking in the Africa’s primate capital Kibale; Lion trekking at Queen Elizabeth National park; the birds at Semiliki national park, and Trek the Gorillas in the misty Jungle of Bwindi impenetrable national park. It ends best with a canoe ride at Lake Bunyonyi in the south western part of Uganda. This is a road trip, starting and ending at Entebbe international airport in the central region.
Our driver guide will meet and greet you at the airport of your hotel. A briefing will be done, and then a transfer to Murchison falls national park; with a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary; where you will track the rare Rhinos in the habitat. After a one hour tracking exercise, proceed for Lunch, and then drive to your lodge for check-In. relax at your lodge in the evening, awaiting dinner and sweet slumber.
Start your day with a mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge, and then head out for game drive in the open savannah grassland in the northern part of the park. For 3-4 hours, the ranger guide will help you identify the different birds, mammals, and plants notably; the cranes, Turacos, eagles, elephants, giraffes, leopards, lions, warthogs, and lots more. Have a lunch break, followed by a boat cruise to the bottom of the Nile while enjoying the calmness of the waters and the water residents such as the hippos and Nile crocodiles. As the sunsets, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a nap.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale forest national park, spending approximately 7-8 hours on the road with a lunch stopover at the mineral city-Hoima. Throughout the journey, keep watching the lush plantation cover, the dotted homesteads and busy towns. End this day in fort portal city with dinner, and sweet slumber at your lodge.
Wakeup to a lip-smacking breakfast meal at the lodge and thereafter head out for a chimpanzee trekking experience which starts with a pretrekking briefing by the ranger guides who will explain the trekking dos and don’ts; facts about the chimpanzees, and the tropical rain forest. The trekking session lasts for approximately 1-4 hours, plus an hour of taking photos and asking questions.
Kibale forest is home to other 12 primates sharing a territory with the chimps and you may chance to encounter one or more species notably; the white and black Columbus monkeys, grey cheeked monkeys, bush baby, and more. Elephants and Buffalos are some of the notable animals living at the forest. After the trekking experience, you will have a lunch break, and visit Isunga cultural community; who will take you around to the cold springs, sing and dance traditionally. End this day with dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you will depart your lodge for a 2-3 hour transfer to Semiliki national park with the stunning views of the lush vegetation and rolling hills. Semiliki national park is a habitat to 40% of the total bird species in the forest. There will be a hike through the semiliki forest, while encountering among others; the hornbills, Turacos, Congo serpent eagle, and more.
You may also chance the sight of among others; the African buffaloes, bush babies, pygmy scaly-tailed flying squirrel, Mona monkeys and more. Walk to the Sempaya hot springs for site seeing and photo-shoots. From there lunch will be served, and then a transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park National Park, with a few of the backdrop of the snowcapped mountain Rwenzori ranges. Arrive at your lodge in the evening hours for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Wakeup to a mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge. Afterword, head out for a briefing session with lion researchers. Lions are known for their fierce nature, and as the kings of the jungle. Your guide will start the trek, with chances of encountering other mammals such as the elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, warthogs and more. When you locate the lions, closely study them and their territory. Lunch break comes next, and a boat cruise where you get to watch among others the hippos and crocodiles. End this day with dinner and a nap at the lodge.
After breakfast, checkout of the lodge for a transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will have a one hour game drive at Ishasha sector, known for the rare tree climbing lions. Lunch at Ishasha, and a memorable welcome at the misty Jungle of Bwindi for check-in. dinner and overnight marks the end of the day.
Kick start your day with a mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge and then transfer to the park headquarters for a pretrekking briefing whereby the ranger guide will explain the trekking dos and don’ts, assign a gorilla family to track, and accompany you on a 1-8 hour trekking experience. Gorillas are gentle creatures, living as a family and feeding on the forest vegetation. When you path meets theirs; the two of you have an hour for looking at each other; while you take photos, and videos. After an hours experience, return to the lodge for Lunch, and spend the evening interacting with the Batwa pygmies who will entertain you through stories, dance and community walks. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Get to the tea table for your intestine satisfaction. Afterword checkout of the lodge for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi; known for its beautiful serenity and over 29 islands. Lake Bunyonyi is one of the deepest freshwater lakes in the world, and it was referred to as the second Switzerland in Africa. You will have a glance at the stunning scenery along the way to your lodge. Journey time lasts for approximately 2-3 hours, and you get to the lodge for refreshment and lunch. Set out for canoe ride, and other activities at the lake shore until sunset when you will end with dinner and nap.
After breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge for a transfer to the agreed drop-off point in Kampala or Entebbe international airport. Stopover at the equator for lunch and watching the demonstration at the line dividing the earth in the northern and southern hemisphere.
