Trip Overview

The 3-Day Masai Mara Safari offers an unforgettable safari experience as it blends wildlife adventure with cultural immersion. On the first day, head to the mighty Masai Mara National Reserve and visit the indigenous Masai community to learn about their way of life and their traditions.

The second day is dedicated to an exhilarating full-day game drive to watch the African Big Five animals and other animals like the zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, crocodiles, and more. Have an option of a hot air ballooning tour to have a panoramic experience of the surroundings. On the last day, enjoy a morning game drive before departing back to Nairobi.

our Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day1. Pick up from Nairobi Kenya and transfer to Masai Mara, Masai community walk

The driver guide will pick you up from the airport or any point agreed on in Nairobi one of the big cities in Kenya and make a transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. The scenic drive takes about 4 hours with a stopover at the Rift Valley viewing point. The vast savannahs are home to different animals such as lions, elephants, cheetahs, zebras, crocodiles, and many more. Arrive and head to visit the Masai community who are cattle keepers before heading to the lodge for your dinner and night stay.

Day2. Full-day game drive

Have a full-day game drive where you will encounter different wildlife including wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, crocodiles, hippos, bushbucks, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, buffalos, and many more. This day will involve bush breakfast, picnic lunch, and sundowners. Have an option of hot air ballooning to have an aerial view of the surroundings. If it’s a month of migration, witness the annual wildebeest migration together with zebras.

Day3. Head back to Nairobi and Departure

Leave Mara with a game drive and head back to Nairobi for a departure flight marking the end of the safari.
