The driver guide will pick you up from an agreed point and you will immediately transfer to Murchison Falls NP. This is the largest protected area in Uganda covering 3893 square kilometres and is famous for homing the world’s strongest waterfall and four of the big five animals. The journey takes about 7 hours with a stopover at one of the roadside markets to buy fresh fruits like passion fruits, yellow/sweet bananas, jackfruit, and many more. Arrive and head to the lodge booked for your dinner.

Have a morning game drive in the park where you encounter different animals including four of the big five animals such as lions, elephants, buffalos, and leopards. Other animals that will be spotted include giraffes, oribis, bushbucks, zebras, warthogs, and many more. Have a break at the hippo pool where you will encounter hippos, different water birds like pelicans, and hamerkop and, more as you enjoy bush breakfast or fruit breakfast.

Have a boat cruise after lunch to encounter hippos, crocodile birds like pelicans, fish eagles, kingfishers, hamerkops, and others. The cruise will give you a sight of the forest and savannah areas accompanied by a view of the falls from the falls. Start a hike to the top of the falls to witness the falls that are formed when water passes in a narrow gorge. The hike is amazing as you enjoy the birds, the history of Murchison Falls and more. Head back to the lodge for your dinner.

Have breakfast in the morning at the lodge which will be followed by a transfer back to Kampala. Have a break at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to trek Rhinos. This is the only place in Uganda with rhinos in the wild. The experience lasts for about 2 hours while spotting different antelopes like bushbucks, water bucks, and many more others. Proceed to Kampala after lunch and be dropped at the airport in Entebbe to mark the end of the safari.
