Trip Overview

Take part in this great 5-day safari that will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Park the savannah protected areas for game drives, boat cruises and community walks. The safari will introduce you to the true savannah wilderness as you watch animals like the rare tree-climbing lions, leopards, warthogs, elephants, elands, jackals, impalas, giraffes, zebras, bushbucks and many more others.

Also, enjoy the equator viewpoint at Kayabwe and then the beautiful scenery of tea plantations, coffee gardens, Rwenzori mountain ranges and more. The safari will begin by visiting Lake Mburo and then head to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Bunyaruguru twin lakes.

our Day-by-Day Itinerary

The safari will immediately begin from the airport with the help of the driver guide to Lake Mburo National park the smallest savannah national park in Uganda. The journey takes about 3 hours with a stopover at the Uganda equator for photos and souvenir buying. Arrive and check in the accommodation facility for dinner.

Wake up and have a cup of coffee on your breakfast followed by a game drive which will take about 2 hours exploring the endless scenery of the savannahs with its animals such as zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, topi, bushbucks, hyenas, and jackals and birds like Black Crake, Common Squacco, Striated, Goliath, Purple, Black-headed, Grey, and Black-headed Herons, will also be spotted. Have lunch and take part in a boat cruise to watch animals like leopards, topi, bushbucks, hyenas and others.

Take part in an optional activity such as cycling or horseback riding in Lake Mburo National park and this will be followed by a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey is through Mbarara and Ishaka connecting to Bunyaruguru craters to view the twin lakes and be welcomed with precious animals in the park premises such as elephants, buffalos, warthogs, Uganda kobs and many more others. The day will end after retiring at the lodge booked.

The adventure in this beautiful park will begin in the morning after a cup of coffee and then, hit into the wild with a game drive to search for wild animals like hyenas, lions, leopards, jackals, warthogs, buffalos, Uganda kobs, elephants and more. The game drive takes about 2 hours and this will be followed by a lunch break. Proceed with a game drive to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise to watch animals like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalos and many more others. The day of adventure is Queen Elizabeth National Park therefore includes a game drive and boat cruise.

The driver guide will take you back to Kampala using a different route that passes via the Fort portal. This journey is scenic with a breathtaking landscape cape covered with Rwenzori ranges, banana plantations, tea estates and many more. The safari will end after a Drop-off at the airport in Entebbe.
