You will be briefed on what to expect in the safari, and thereafter hit the road on a 3-4 hour scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park; watching the plantations, dotted homesteads, and busy trading centers. Where to have Lunch is determined by when the journey begins. Arrive at the lodge in the evening for dinner and sweet slumber.

Kickstart your day with a 6 am game drive experience where you get to see what happens in the wild in the morning. How the Antelopes such as the Oribis, Uganda Kobs, hartebeest, and more; the zebras, and Buffalos feed and move for greener pastures. After about 2 hours, have a 9 am boat cruise where you get to watch the aquatic residents such as the hippos and crocodiles.

It can also be that day to see a few primates. Lunch comes at midday, followed by a 4-5 hour scenic game drive through a route marked by lush plantations, and breathtaking landscape. Arrive at the lodge in the evening for dinner and a nap.

Start this day with a satisfying breakfast meal at the lodge and off you go to the park headquarters for registration, and a trekking briefing where the ranger guide gets to explain the trekking dos and don’ts;  chimpanzee character, and life. Scientists suggest chimpanzees possess over 98% human-like DNA, thus a probability of originating from the same ancestry.

Chimp trekking takes approximately 1-4 hours, as you identify some more primates, plants, birds, and nests. After finding these relatives, there is a one-hour allowance for you to take photos and videos of how the chimpanzees feed, play, and interact. Afterward return to the lodge for Lunch, followed by an evening exploration of the cold springs and top of the world with the experts at Isunga cultural community.

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge for a transfer to the southwestern part of Uganda, at the feet of the vast Virunga Chain of Mountains. There will be an en-route stopover for Lunch, and eye-catching views of the rolling hills, green vegetation, and African-dotted homesteads. You will get to your lodge at sunset for check-in, dinner, and sweet slumber.

Start your day early with a cup of energizing cup of coffee. The next thirty minutes are for a trekking briefing and document verifications. The ranger guides will help you understand the life and stories of the jungle and its inhabitants the Gorillas. Bwindi’s impenetrable national park is home to half of the total mountain Gorilla species in the world.

In one of the four sectors, you will enter the lush forest, passing where the areas the apes were last spotted. These are the most powerful primates on earth; living as a family led by a gentle silverback with a silver-like lining at the back. Depending on your speed and the direction the Gorillas have taken; it takes about 1-8 hours, plus an extra hour for studying, taking photos, and asking questions.

After a moment with the Gorillas, withdraw from the forest for Lunch, and a refreshment, followed by a sunset cultural moment with the Batwa pygmies in their natural habitat. Dance, listen to stories, and call it a day with dinner and a nap at the lodge.

Brighten your morning with a mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge. Thereafter, check out of the lodge for a transfer to the airport for a transfer to your next destination or home. Lunch is served en route and the driver guide will bid you a safe journey at the agreed point.
