This is an incredible safari as it starts by visiting the smallest savannah protected area in Uganda that is Lake Mburo National Park and then heads to Queen Elizabeth National Park for another breathtaking landscape accompanied by rich biodiversity as you take a game drive in Kasenyi plains and boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
The safari will continue to Murchison Falls NP home to the world’s most powerful waterfall for a boat cruise and game drive. Then head back to Kampala on the last day of your safari with a caption of visiting Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino trekking and this will depend on the scheduled flight. Therefore, the safari will leave you with lasting memories of Uganda’s natural beauty and abundant wildlife.
The driver guide assigned to you will pick you up from the agreed area in either Entebbe or Kampala and he will take you through a short briefing about this amazing tour to some of the Savannah national parks. The journey will immediately begin at Lake Mburo National Park famous for homing impalas, zebras, and Ankole long-horned cattle.
The journey takes about 3 to 4 hours with a stopover at the Uganda equator point for photos, craft buying and refreshments. Arrive and take a boat cruise on Lake Ihema to sight birds and animals like hippos, crocodiles and many others. Head back to the lodge for your dinner and night stay.
Have a morning game drive to spot animals like zebras, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, elands, topi, elands, leopards, hyenas, reedbucks and many more. The game drive will take you to the water banks for a picnic lunch and this will create everlasting memories. After head to another great destination which is Queen Elizabeth National Park the most visited national park in Uganda due to its abundant wildlife. Arrive and take a shower after checking in the accommodation facility booked.
Have morning he drives in the Kasenyi plains to watch early raisers such as lions, leopards, hyenas, buffalos, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, side-striped jackals, African civets and many more others. The game drive is amazing and it lasts for about 2 to 3 hours and this will create everlasting memories.
After, head for a boat cruise in the afternoon at Kazinga channel to watch animals like hippos, crocodiles, isolated buffalos, elephants, Uganda kobs, and warthogs plus other birds like pelicans, hamerkops, fish eagles, Egrets and many more. Head back to the lodge after cruising for your dinner and night stay.
Have an early breakfast and then take a drive to Murchison Falls National Park the largest protected area in the pearl of Africa. The journey takes about 7 to 8 hours drive with a stopover at one of the roadside markets to buy some fresh fruits like mangoes, jack fruit and passion fruits and more.
This park is home to the world’s most powerful water on river Nile and this separates the park into two parts making the southern part a forested area and the northern part a savannah. Arrive and head to the lodge booked
Have the last game drive on this safari they will take place in the northern part of the park where you spot animals like elephants, buffalos, duikers, Jackson’s hartebeests, giraffes, leopards, lions, ibis, jackals, warthogs and many more.
The game drive will have a break at the hippo pool to enjoy the bush fruit breakfast that we bought the previous day. The day will include a boat cruise that will take you to the bottom of the falls while spotting animals like crocodiles, hippos, birds like pelicans, Egrets, hamerkops, kingfishers and more. The day will end after returning to the lodge for your last night.
Head back to Kampala after breakfast with an enroute tour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to trek the endangered rhinos in their natural setting. Trekking will last for about 2 hours on foot and then proceed to Kampala and be dropped at any agreed point either airport or hotel to mark the end of the safari.
