Trip Overview

Wonder to the wild of the Pearl of Africa in 9 days. Nights spent on cozy beddings and lodging facilities; travel on a comfortable safari van; and be guided by a very adventurous and knowledgeable safari guide. Take the wheels to Murchison Falls National Park which is home to the world’s most powerful waterfall and is located in the northwestern part of the country.

Trek the Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park; the chimpanzees at Kibale Forest National Park; the lions at Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Rhinos at Ziwa rhino sanctuary in Nakasongola district. Gorillas and Chimpanzees reportedly possess over 98% human-like DNA thus believed to share the same ancestry. It is a road trip; starting and ending at Entebbe International Airport or the agreed points.

our Day-by-Day Itinerary

From the agreed pickup point; our safari guide will meet and greet you; proceeding to explain the activities and destinations to be visited in the 9 days. The journey to the oldest national park then begins, driving through the busy suburbs of Kampala to Nakasongola where you will have the first stopover for Rhino Trekking.

Thanks to the conservationists who have made it possible to encounter one of the fiercest animals on earth. An hour’s track, and then the 5-6 hour journey continues, with Lunch at Masindi town. You will proceed to your lodge at Murchison to check in and refresh. A snack will keep you active while waiting for dinner.

Start your day with a cup of coffee and then go for a game drive in the northern part of the Park, guided by an expert ranger guide who will show and explain facts about the different animals and birds that come your way. Stay alert from the start to the end to change a lion in its hideout, a leopard; giraffes, warthogs, hartebeests, gazelles, and more.

After the game drive, you will have Lunch and a boat cruise to the bottom of the world’s most powerful waterfall. There you get to watch the Nile crocodile, hippos, and different bird species in the wilderness. End this day with dinner and overnight.

After a delicious breakfast meal, check out of the lodge for a Transfer to Fort Portal City to view Uganda’s oil city-Hoima. Have a lunch stopover, and proceed with the journey while watching Uganda’s African-style homesteads, stunning sceneries, lush plantations, and more.  You will arrive at your lodge after a 7-8 hour Journey, and settle in for refreshment, dinner, and sweet slumber.

Wake up to an early breakfast meal at the lodge. Thereafter report to the park headquarters for a trekking briefing where the ranger guide will explain the trekking dos and don’ts. Set out to find your cousins chanting while playing and feeding. Kibale forest is home to over 13 primate species; and thus Africa’s primate capital.

While tracking, you may chance to spot the other inhabitants of the park notably; the rare Lhoest monkeys, white and black Columbus monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed monkeys, bush babies, and more. One hour with the chimps is your reward, followed by Lunch.

The Evening is spent at Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary where you will enjoy a wood walk around Magoma Swamp, encounter some of the primates like the baboons, interact with locals, and keep observing and naming birds. End the day with dinner and sweet slumber.

After breakfast, you will have a 2-3 hour drive to the second-largest national park in Uganda. There will be a smile ignited by the views of the lush plantations, undulating plains, and rolling hills. Arrive at the lodge in the park for Lunch, and spend the evening at Kazinga channel. Taking photos and watching the calm waters; crocodiles, hippos and more. End this day with dinner and a nap.

Today: there will be a sunrise game drive for approximately 3-4 hours at the open Kisenyi Savannah area. Chances are that you might spot among others; the waterbucks; pumbas, monkeys, buffaloes, a herd of elephants, different antelope species and more.

Back from the Game drive, you will have a lunch break, followed by an early afternoon lion trekking to learn about the life of the Lions and how they rule the Jungle. The final activity will be visiting the crater twin salt lakes; a habitat to a school of crocodiles; elephants, Buffaloes, Uganda Kobs and more. End this day with dinner and sweet slumber.

Start this day with breakfast. Drive to the misty Jungle of Bwindi through the Ishasha sector; a habitat to the rare tree climbing Lions. You will have a one-hour game drive looking out for these Kings lazily lying at the tree top with eyes open to spot the next prey. More animals to see include: the hyenas, leopards, buffaloes and more. You will have Lunch, and proceed to your lodge in one of the four sectors of Bwindi’s impenetrable national park for dinner and a sweet slumber.

Kickstart the day with a satisfying cup of coffee and with packed Lunch, and head out to the sector’s headquarters for registration and trekking briefing. Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is home to over half of the total Mountain Gorillas living in the Lush Virunga chain of Mountains.

These Apes are reportedly the most powerful primates on earth, with 98% human-like DNA. Trekking is on foot and takes approximately 1-8 hours, plus an hour for taking photos, videos and asking Questions. Watch the silverback up close, and thereafter return to the lodge for refreshment. The nightfall will find you at Lake Bunyonyi; one of the deepest freshwater lakes in the world. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast, the journey to the agreed drop-off point starts early morning. 7-8 hours on the road, with a Lunch stopover and site seeing at the equator point. Drop-off will be at Entebbe International Airport or any other preferred destination.
