Trip Overview

In this 16 days trip around Uganda; you will explore the eastern, northern and southern circuit of Uganda where you will get to track the Gorillas at Bwindi impenetrable national park; focus on finding lions at queen Elizabeth national park; laugh with the chimpanzees at Kibale forest national park in fort portal city.  Time at the Nile exploring the longest river on earth will be well planned. Sippi falls, Wanale falls and the unspoilt Kidepo valley national park make the days unforgettable. You will get entertained through the stories and dances of the Karamojongs in their natural habitat. This is a road trip, starting and ending at Entebbe international airport.

our Day-by-Day Itinerary

Today; Meet and greet our company representative and who will welcome you to the pearl of Africa and transfer to your hotel of refreshment. Have lunch and free evening, spending the day relaxing by the calm hotel balcony. We have an evening set out for a city tour to Uganda Museum, Gadhafi mosque, and Kabakas palace. End this day with dinner a sweet slumber.

After breakfast, you will depart you hotel very early in the morning for a 2-3 hour road trip to Jinja city; traversing with a view of the Nile Bridge; the lush Mabira forest, and the busy towns with locals crying on with their trade. Have breakfast in Jinja, followed by a half day whitewater rafting through the different water waves, and also, after lunch, go for a boat Nile to the source of the Nile. End the day with dinner and overnight.

Wakeup to mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge. Afterword hit the road to Sippi falls national park, with a views of the rolling hills, and plantations. You will arrive In Mbale city for Lunch, and transfer to wanale hills to watch the wanale falls. Afterword, you will proceed to your lodge at Sippi for dinner and a sweet slumber.

Start the day with a yummy breakfast meal at the lodge. Afterword hike to the three mighty falls of Sippi. Full day of taking photos and admiration of the falls, a shower at one of the three levels of the falls. Sippi falls is located at Mountain Elgon, seating with the three mighty falls at different levels. Other attractions to lookout for include; the different plantation cover, coffee and the natives of the area. Have lunch and spend the evening on a cultural tour where you will visit and interact with the local native, taking photos and listening to stories. End this day with dinner and overnight.

 Breakfast comes first thing today, and a 7-8 hour journey to Kidepo valley national park; a true African wilderness. With a view of lush plantation, the Karamojong homesteads with the natives on African homestead and the eye-catching rolling hills. There will be a stopover at Nyero rock painting; and lunch enroute. End this day with dinner and sweet slumber.

After breakfast, you will head out for a 3-5 hour game drive in the open savannah park-a true wilderness of Africa. Around the Narus valley and other parts of the park; you will lookout for the mammals such as the cheetahs, buffalos, elephants, leopards, lions, different antelope species, cheetah, ostriches and more. After the trekking experience, you will have a lunch break, followed by a cultural tour, with a visit to the Karamojongs in their community. Karamojongs are renowned herdsmen, and you will spend the evening visiting the animal kraals, listening to stories and engaging in a thrilling 3-4 Karamojongs dances and songs. End this day with dinner and a nap.

With a cup of coffee well served, you will checkout of the lodge for a transfer to Murchison falls Np; with a stopover in Gulu for Lunch. Murchison falls national park is the largest and oldest national park in the republic of Uganda, with the world’s most powerful waterfall. Arrive and check-in to your lodge in Murchison fall national park for dinner and sweet slumber.

With a cup of coffee well served, you will checkout of the lodge for a transfer to Murchison falls Np; with a stopover in Gulu for Lunch. Murchison falls national park is the largest and oldest national park in the republic of Uganda, with the world’s most powerful waterfall. Arrive and check-in to your lodge in Murchison fall national park for dinner and sweet slumber.

Kick start the day with what the intestines love before transferring to Kibale forest national park; the primate capital of Africa. The journey time is approximately 7-8 hours, plus a lunch stopover. All the way to your lodge, appreciate the stunning view of the landscape and lush plantations. Arrive at the lodge for dinner, and sweet slumber at the lodge.

After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a pretrekking briefing with the expert ranger guides who will explain the trekking dos and don’ts and the character of the Apes. After, spend approximately1-4 hours trekking, and an extra hour watching the primate behaviors which include; eating using sticks as fork. The mothers nurse groom the young ones in cleanliness and eating. There are other 12 primates co-existing with the chimps and you may encounter them while on search.

Next in plan will be Lunch an evening visit of the Bigodi swamp where you can get to encounter among others; the baboons, Turacos and more. The board walk is guided by a local ranger who will help you identify different attractions and also interact with the local natives. End the day at the lodge with dinner and a nap.

After breakfast, you will depart to Queen Elizabeth national park on a 2-3 hour journey. Arrive and check-in to your lodge for refreshment and Lunch. In the evening, you will visit and explore the Katwe salt mines to learn how salt is made and the raw materials. Dinner and a nap brings this day to close.

After breakfast, you will join the team on a lion trekking escapade; to learn one of the world’s most fierce animals; the lions. Throughout the open savannah grassland, you will take a drive up to where they are, for close study of what this predators feed on, their lifespan, and appearance. Afterword, follow with Lunch and an afternoon boat cruise at Kazinga channel. The boat cruise if for about 2 hours and offers the view of among others the hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight mark the end of the day.

You will have a game drive experience in search for the tree climbing lions and Lunch at Ishasha region. Proceed with the Journey to one of the four sectors of Bwindi Np for dinner and sweet slumber.

You will have a game drive experience in search for the tree climbing lions and Lunch at Ishasha region. Proceed with the Journey to one of the four sectors of Bwindi Np for dinner and sweet slumber.

Start your day with a lip-smacking breakfast meal at the lodge,  and  then head out to the park headquarters where the ranger guide will verify all the documents you will present and thereafter brief all trekkers on the trekking dos and don’ts. After assigning you to a Gorilla family, the trek begins, first visiting the place they were last spotted then through the lush forest to where they are.

This comes with surprise encounters other primates, mammals and birds in the habitat. As you find them, there is an hour for watching and taking photos. The trekking time lasts for approximately 1-8 hours, depending on how far the Apes have moved and ones trekking speed.

After gorilla trekking, you will depart the Jungle to your lodge for Lunch, and a departure to Lake Bunyonyi on a 2-3 hour scenic drive. Arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and sweet slumber.

Day16: Departure

Afer breakfast, you will spend the entire day exploring Lake Bunyonyi. Identify its biodiversity; the birds and plants. Lake Bunyonyi Is surrounded by about 29 islands each with a historical significance. On a canoe ride, you will visit the different islands such as the punishment island where girls caught on immoral acts are banished. Other activities you will engage in around the lake include: swimming, birding and nature walk. Have a lunch break, and at the end of the day dinner and sweet slumber.

The day starts with a breakfast meal, then checkout of the lodge for a transfer to Entebbe international airport for your drop-off. Enroute, lunch will be served, and stopover to watch demonstrations at the equator.
